Alter Ego

This is a project of an apartment in Kyiv for a family with a son. Total area is 71 m². The interior is made in a modern style with a touch of sophistication.

The most part of the walls are made in decorative MDF panels, a pattern is printed on some surfaces.

The wardrobe near the entrance seamlessly goes into the wall. Hooks for outerwear are in fact already on the wall.

Initially, according to the layout, the kitchen was a separate very small room. We decided to combine it with the living room, thus visually significantly increased the space of both rooms.

Against a discreet background of walls, floors, and ceilings, the bright color accents of the sofa and TV table look very interesting.

LED lighting along the upper corner of the walls creates a so-called “floating” effect of the ceiling.

There is a lot of space in the son’s bedroom. Thus, it was possible to put here not only a bed, a wardrobe, and shelves, but also a place for a convenient desktop.

For wall decoration, decorative plaster is used. In order to achieve the effect of a monolithic wall, flush-mounted doors are finished with the same plaster.

Daylight from the window falls on the desktop, which is the best lighting for the eyes when working at the table.

The dark glass behind the head of the bed resonates perfectly with the mirror near the entrance. In addition, the last one visually expands the space.

In the main bedroom, the task was to leave only the most necessary furniture. As a result, we got a lot of space, while the decor in the form of gypsum moldings added the necessary details to the room.

Bronze elements add noble shades to the overall bedroom interior.

The apartment has two bathrooms. The first is made in a light tile with a large amount of LED lighting for a visual increasing of a space.

The bathtub is combined with a shower cabin for comfortable use of both options. The heated towel rail is recessed into the wall to save space in a small bathroom.

The bathroom contains shelves that are part of the wall. They are designed for convenient placement of all necessary bathroom accessories.

The second bathroom is smaller, there is only a toilet and shower.

The room is made in a darker large format tile (120 cm x 300 cm). Due to this, the seams are practically absent and the effect of a monolithic surface is created.

The combination of dark and light colors with a natural stone pattern looks very stylish.
